Our Jr. Trade-in Program is designed to save families money on ski and snowboard equipment for the kids, and help ensure they are in the right sizes. Whether you purchase new, used, from us or somewhere else, we will trade your out-grown kids skis, snowboards and boots toward their new size. It is almost impossible to predict how much a child will grow in a year, making it likely that they will end up with wrong size for both seasons.
- After 1 year, we credit 50% of the purchase price toward the next size.
- After 2 years , we credit 25% of the purchase toward the next size.
- If you did not purchase the equipment from us and no longer have the receipt, we will make an assessment at the time of trade-in for the value.
- Trade-ins can be made all the way into their first set of adult equipment.
- We carry kids equipment up to men's size 10, so most tweens will still be able to trade-in until their feet stop growing (usually at 14 years).
- Skis or Boards must be traded in with bindings.
- Bindings must be in proper working order and currently indemnified by the manufacture.
- Boots need to pass visual inspection for excessive wear.
- Regardless of age, we credit $9.99 for ski poles.
The Jr. Trade-in Program is our version of a season lease for kids. When buying new equipment, the final price will be similar cost to season lease at other shops. When buying used equipment, the final cost will be far less than any season lease.
